Just married.
It began, as the best things often do, without either of us quite noticing.
What started as an easy conversation became a habit, then a friendship, then the kind of love that turns ordinary days into occasions.
Somewhere along the way a question was asked, and answered. Now there is nothing we would like more than to celebrate with the people who made us who we are.

Bella Giornata is about 20 minutes south of downtown Grand Rapids, and downtown is where we recommend staying. It's walkable, it sits right on the Grand River, and it's full of good places to eat and drink, so it's easy to make a weekend of it.
Downtown's landmark hotel, known for its chandeliered 1913 lobby. A skywalk links it to the JW Marriott next door.
187 Monroe Ave NWA modern tower on the banks of the Grand River, with a spa and an indoor pool.
